Title: AGM - Eyebrook - Sat. Oct. 14
Post by: andre on September 21, 2017, 10:45:16 AM
Can you confirm if you intend to join us for the Autumn Trophy competition and AGM. I need to confirm numbers to Eyebrook and arrange food for us.

At the moment I'm looking at fishing 9.00 - 3.00 on this one, the AGM then can hopefully start at 4.00 latest and with luck ? finish around 5.00 so those who have to travel will not be too late away.

Andre.

Regrettably, I will not be able to make this. Although I would not be able to fish, I might be able to make the AGM after, no promises though.

Hi guys I will pop down to see you all as you come out the water to say a fond farewell as unfortunately I won't be able to carry on. Just so i won't have to explain to each of you in turn the leg I got the DVT in is knackered the main archery  as been to badly damaged second my toes in each foot are losing feelings in and can't bend them on my left so going to diabetes foot clinic at the end of the month to see if they can save them or not. Been a great pleasure meeting and fishing with you all, memories I will never forget. So hope to see you Saturday all being well.

Your friend

Ivan

(Just in case I don't make it have a great day, be safe and good luck to all)

Bacon butties arranged for your arrival, I have to cook them for you so make sure you've lined your stomachs the night before. Ifor would like each of us to make a donation (£2.00) to cover some of the cost with the balance going to the English Disabled Fly Fishers. My boss will be coming to the fishery in the afternoon to dispense home made soup with crusty bread to set you up for your journey home. Trophies are in for engraving so we can complete a presentation, autumn trophy for the top bag on the day will be presented and Steve F has proposed the £5.00 winner takes all sweepstake for the day. Don't forget I'm aiming for a 9.00am start and off the water by 3.00pm so we can conclude our business before the fishery staff want us off site.

Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday and wrapping up another very enjoyable season.

Andre.
