The following are the results from the Wimbleball Competition. Older Members will (hopefully), spot that the format has changed to accomodate the new points scoring system agreed at the Barnsfold AGM at the end of last season.

On the day 10 members fished - 59 fish were netted with many returned and a lot more lost at the net or after being played.

The best fish of the day was a huge double figure brownie which was in superb condition and a beautiful fish - it stretched beyond the length of the stripping apron on a guideline drifter float tube. It was not a Ferox, although it did have big sharp teeth, and just looked like a hugely magnified golden coloured picture of the nicest brownie you have ever seen. It was safely released and swam away strongly.

Apologies Kevin. Put the error down to stress, overwork and tiredness!

I have altered the report slightly to correct your elevated position, and will alter the spreadsheet so that it reads the correct points ratings for the three of us.
