It's a Test

Off to Raygill in a few minutes to test out my newfound skills in a tube.
The wind is a little stronger than I'm used to so let's see what happens.
Maybe this time I won't be stuck up against the cliff face for 1/2 hour getting my breath back. LOL.

Good luck Jim shouldn't be a problem for you now with your new fins let us know how you get on. Some big fish in there.

Having fished Raygill regularly in the past sometimes if the wind is in the wrong direction it acts like a wind tunnel Raygill has it own weather system. I hope you managed ok a little tip if you make up a 5-6ft length of rope with a carabineer at each end you can attach your tube to one of the buoys when you get tired and still be able to fish.

Well I didn't get stuck on the cliff face.
The wind was buffeting me a bit, but the new fins made it a doddle, 5 hours in the tube before a cramp got me out and a bit of dancing sorted it.
Didn't get much as they had just chucked in thousands of little trout about 3 inch long. They were on to them like a free buffet and not much else.
But still happy with the effort.
Getting to enjoy this tube business.
