Further to discussion with the membership over recent weeks and finally at the Eyebrook last Saturday I can confirm the following:-

THE STEVE PARTON MEMORIAL COMP. - This is now booked for Saturday September 30th

CHANGE OF VENUE - ELINOR IS BOOKED FOR SATURDAY JULY 22ND - this replaces Rutland.

AGM - CHANGE OF VENUE & DATE - EYEBROOK IS BOOKED FOR SATURDAY OCTOBER 14TH.

I trust everyone is happy with this particularly the AGM where there was some issue with committee members attending Ladybower.

Re AGM would be interested coming down with the Doris.
Have stopped at the Falcon Hotel /Vaults Uppingham for last 25 yrs when fishing Rutland looking at c £40 per head per night ( see website) . If interested let me know?
Are we/you organising usual quiz etc?

Will be great to see you Tony, don't think we'll be quizzing as our Doris's will be at home preparing supper for their hunter gatherer menfolk on their return to the homestead. Seriously though - we will have use of the fishery lodge for a couple of hours after we have fished, don't know what members think but I was going to float the idea of 9.00-3.00pm fishing (Backender trophy on offer - maybe sweepstake as well) 3.30pm in the lodge. We have use of the kitchen as well as the club room so I'll sort some snap for us - may even talk my Doris in to attending to oversee the food - don't worry full training will be offered well before the event and I'll make sure she is properly certified !!!

Thanks for letting me know guys.

Anyone else planning to come, think the search party has found Gary so as long as he can get the thumb removed from the top of his head in time he may be joining me for a paddle around.
