Ifor is putting the posters up this week inviting the boat anglers to team up.
Can you confirm if you will join me for this one.
Steve & Ric proposed to roll this day up as we did last year to include championship points, Pairs Competition and of course retaining our trophy from the boat numpties, thoughts on this as well please.

Thanks Martin, fished Thornton yesterday with John Even. Fishing was challenging, John had 4 and I had 3 losing a fish just as we paddled in ! the reservoir has the highest stock level seen at this time of the year but the fishing is very weather dependant. The fish are in the top foot of the water, temperature is down to 15 degrees. Daddies (orange), Sedges and Claret Buzzers seem to be the main killing patterns, a touch of orange in your patterns does seem to increase their effect. I took two on an orange thoraxed P/T.
Hope this helps, get to your tying benches and make sure you're covered for the SP Memorial !
Andre.

Andre, I can't make this one now. We were originally having a CFF social there but have now been informed that camping is out of the question so we are going to Elinor instead.
Come on you tubers, retain the cup.

I have spoken to the site manager at Colwick Park ,John Simpson. The council are in discussion at the moment as to whether to keep or close the lake, no decision will be made before Christmas, but he was honest and said that the water has been losing money for a few years and with the cuts back at the council it does not look good.

I have 10 on my list, this is ok, boats only have 8 at the moment. Gary is injured - karate issue !
Thornton is fishing well, water temp is 15 degrees, fish feeding on the top, suspender buzzers, daddies, muddlers, hoppers etc. Claret is working well.
Andre.
