Wimbleball Reservoir New management

Mark Underhill of Rainbow Valley Trout Farm has taken over the running of Wimbleball fishing.
I have just spoken to Mark and he hopes to open in April. He will be stocking with fish from 2-3lb up.
Float tubing will still be available .
He will be sorting fishing permit prices out and I will post these as soon as they are available.
We will try to arrange one of our competitions there this year if possible.

Some good news with a fishery opening back up instead of closing

Good news indeed Steve. A brilliant fishery with some cracking (and large) wild brown trout to be encountered as a by-catch to the rainbows. Ric would love it at Wimbleball.

Look forward to getting a weekend at the farm with the fishing on Wimbleball, excellent news.

Gary and I will be fishing the Cornish Open, we're staying at Porthole Leven for a change.

Further to above:

Wimbleball now appears to have opened successfully in March. Fishing is a five fish ticket for £25. Not sure about float tubing yet - perhaps our man in the South might get on to this.
