One not to tell the lady's!!!!

I was sat listening to the local radio station; along with the wife; when the weather reporter announced that very bad weather was on the way, snowfall was expected to reach six inches. The reporter continued, and broadcast that the local authority had requested that all residents park their cars on the ‘even side’ of the streets, so that the snow-ploughs and gritters could get around un-hindered. The wife immediately went outside and dutifully parked the car on the even side of the road. The following evening the weatherman reported further heavy snowfall, and again passed on the message from the local authority, this time they asked the people park their cars on the odd numbered side of the streets, so that the snow-ploughs and gritters could treat the other side of the roads. Again, the wife dutifully went out and moved the care to the odd numbered side of our street.

The next night, the weatherman, simply, reported that heavy snow was expected. The wife immediately panicked “What side of the road do the council want us to park on, what ever shall we do?”
“How about…” I replied “…We just leave the car in the garage tonight”
