Fished Thrybergh today with Rik Dave M and Phil had a cracking day with 3 of us catching well into double figures. Dave had 1 at 4 1/2 lb I had 1 at 4. Me and Rik fished a midge tip washing line set up and we had them on Crunchers and Dawel Bachs. Dave fished a floater for much of the time and caught on Dawel Bachs he did swap to a intermediate towards the end and had the big fish on this again on a Dawel Bach. The fish were all around 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. the water temperature had dropped and the fish have switched on big style. Once again we could not get anything on buzzers. Fish we're high up in the water but we had nothing on dries, no sign of any critters on the surface. Looks good for the match anyone who has not signed up look like missing a good day.
PS the breakfast was good Dave C.

So sorry that I can't make this one. Hope someone manages to catch Moby Dick, the one that pulled me in from the tube and then broke loose. But do be sure that Stevie is around to tow you to the bank.
